Inspire your donors with a customized message about why you are involved in Power of Movement and why it is important to you. We've made supporting you easy and convenient for your donors; as soon as they pledge you online, they are sent a charitable receipt as well as a thank you note via email. Think BIG

Set a goal and believe in yourself that you can reach it! There are literally hundreds of ways to raise money and if you set your goals, create a plan and follow through, you can blow that initial target out of the water! Think of it as a personal challenge; think big and be bold. If you do reach your goal before the event, consider raising the bar a little higher, as people are more apt to donate if they see that you need to still reach that goal.

Strength in Numbers

You don't have to do it alone. By asking friends and family to help you raise funds, you can easily multiply your donations. Simply make copies of your pledge form and distribute them to willing recruits or ask friends and family to help you plan a fundraising event. Even asking people to talk about the event and your participation in it will help raise awareness. Every little bit counts.

Educate Your Donors

Tell people about Power of Movement and why it inspires you! Let them know why you are involved and about your personal fundraising goals. Give them the opportunity to help make a difference for more than 4.2 million Canadians affected with arthritis and autoimmune conditions. The more people know about the cause, the more they will be willing to give.

Thank Your Donors

It is good practice to thank your donors once your fundraising campaign is complete. Follow up with an email or phone call to let them know how much you raised and how their pledge helped you to achieve your goals. You'll be surprised how much donors appreciate the effort and will be more willing to donate the next time.
